Oasis – Whats The Story Morning Glory

I’ve learnt to play my top 50 albums of all time and this is number 50. Whats The Story Morning Glory is a masterpiece, Oasis’s crowning glory.

Now let’s not get this twisted, just because its number 50 it’s NOT my favourite album of all time. However, it’s certainly up there. I have so many good memories from various point of my life that are all related to this album.  Its an album riddled with driving, pulsing anthems that grip you immediately. Balanced with moving ballads like Cast No Shadow and Wonderwall. Of course not forgetting Champagne Supernova. In my opinion easily the best song on the album. Despite its length it’s beautiful lyrics, perfectly balanced by the melody, forms an uplifting and spine tingling ballad of love, life and everything under the sun.

This video is part of my Top 50 Albums on a ukulele project, if you enjoyed it why not check out some other classic albums that I arranged for ukulele. Like Nirvana – NevermindRage Against The Machine – Debut Album or The Eagles – Hotel California.
