Incubus – Morning View

Listening to “Morning View” is like taking a deep breath of warm, saltwater air while sitting on top of the mountain depicted on the album cover, which was the band’s intention all along.

Sometimes the tide comes in a bit rough on songs like Have You Ever and Blood On The Ground, and at other times, the water is quite still and calming on songs like Echo or Aqueous Transmission.

I am extremely happy how this arrangement came out. I have been a fan of Incubus since I first starting to learn to play instruments at the age of 11. One of my musical goals was to be able to play Echo from Morning View with the same calmness that Mike Einziger plays it.

If you enjoyed this video you may “dig” some of my other ukulele arrangements like Radiohead’s In Rainbows or Weezer’s Blue Album.
