Lizzo – Cuz I Love You

Such a beautiful and heartwarming album. Pure fun and personality impregnated in a diverse group of entertaining tracks. Lizzo’s genuine charisma and charm go a long way to make her self-empowerment messages actually convincing.

You might have noticed I wasn’t alone in this video. You may be thinking, hold up, why is that guy doing that to the microphone and why do I love it? This is Ukulele Simon – The Beatboxing Ukulele Guy. We have been chatting on Instagram for a while now and talks of doing something together have finally come to fruition. He’s a sleek uke player and his beatboxing skills are equally brilliant.

Simon is super active on Instagram and YouTube, he has a real knack for combing his ability on the ukulele with his sublime beatboxing skills. Here is a rendition of Stevie Wonders “Supersition”.

Another one of Simons skills is his use of effects pedals to make his playing as dynamic as possible. See him testing his mantle and putting his title of best ukulele beatboxer on the line below.

Please endeavour to check him and out and show some support for a tremendous member of the ukulele community.

LIZZO UKULELE TABS

Not sure how to read these? Get access to my FREE GUIDE and you will be learning these ukulele tabs in no time.

Juice

This is the opening chord sequence and part of the song that most people are familiar with. It’s a pretty simple strumming pattern and you just need to follow the ups ( U ) and downs ( D ) below.

This the vocal line throughout the chorus, the first part is played twice.

Truth Hurts

The first part is the opening riff that’s super recognisable. Altho this is tabbed for a low G it will still work with a normal high G ( what most ukuleles have ). The second part is the vocal line “why men great till they gotta be great”.

Tempo

This riff is 100% a finger blaster haha. It requires you to stretch your fingers all the way up the fretboard and quite quickly too. You are best using your pinky finger for the 9 on the first riff and the 13 on the second one. Each part is played 4 times.

I hope these tabs were helpful to you. Purchasing the full tabs below is a great way to support me financially. It helps me keep this site running and consistently make content.  Imagine that, I could make a living doing what I love… because of you!
