Back In Black

Hells Bells, Back In Black

Rock and Roll Ain’t Noise Pollution … and neither is this timeless masterpiece! AC/DC are well and truly in musical roots, some of my earliest memories are watching old VHS tapes of the likes of Iron Maiden, Guns N Roses and Meat Loaf with my old man. AC/DC was one that stood out though, the energy on stage and the way the held an audience was sick. Not only that, Angus Young is a phenomenal guitarist. It was a hard choice deciding what album to do but I had to settle on Back In Black, it’s up there as one of the most important rock albums of all time, so if you’re ready to rock….I salute you!

“Arguably the greatest turn-around in rock ’n’ roll history, AC/DC bounced back from the death of singer Bon Scott, who drank himself to death in a London pub in February 1980, to make the biggest selling hard rock album ever made with new singer Brian Johnson just five months later. Fifty million sales and counting, ‘Back In Black’ is a behemoth of rock” NME

This video is part of a project I’m working on. I’m learning to play my favourite albums on a ukulele. If you enjoyed it why not check out some other classic albums that I arranged. Like Metallica or Linkin Park.

You need to get your fingers moving fast to pull this one off, quite literately. The p stands for pull off.  This involves holding your finger on the higher fret, plucking it, then pulling off to reveal your other finger holding the lower note.
