I, like many others, was first introduced to Lorde by her mega-hit Royals. Mega-hit probably doesn’t do that song justice. It was absolutely ginormous. It catapulted her onto the music scene. My initial thought was, this song is great but surely its a one hit wonder. I was wrong, very wrong! Her Pure Heroine album is gorgeous. The subtle production really let the songs shine. Safe to say, i was eagerly awaiting Melodrama, I’m not disappointed. Another fantastic album from this Kiwi hero.
