I remember seeing these guys at The New Adelphi in Hull back in 2009. Its a legendary, small sweaty club that puts on local bands and every now again has a half decent band pass through. We have seen the likes of Radiohead, Green Day, Oasis, Pulp and loads more that have gone on to have huge success. I had a feeling Mumford & Sons would have a similar trajectory. I think the handful of people in the room with me thought the same thing. A month later they released Sigh No More and that was it. They become one of the best British exports of the past 10 years.
This video is part of a project I’m working on. I’m learning to play my favourite albums on a ukulele. If you enjoyed it why not check out some other classic albums that I arranged like Damien Rice, Fleetwood Mac or Foals.
