I always admired The Cribs as they are one of them bands that truly embraced their shambolic side. I loved Hey Scenesters and Mirror Kissers and would always welcome them when they came on in the Indie club night. This was during a time when Indie ruled and every man and his dog was trying to start their own provincial band, with a local accent. The Cribs stood out though and by the time they released their 3rd album they have already had a cult following. I was one of them.
