The debut album from The Kooks is a nostalgia trip and it takes me back to a simpler time in my life. It catapulted them into mainstream success and spawned 7 singles. Let’s learn to play some of them on the ukulele.
Today we are learning to play She Moves In Her Own Way, Naive and Got No Love. These ukulele tabs are taken from my arrangement of the album which you can check out below.
She Moves In Her Own Way
Although this may sound like a complicated strumming pattern, it’s really not. It just requires some practice to get it right. The first chord of each part is always a down strum then it’s D, U, U, U, D. We just follow that pattern throughout.
The 3rd requires a hammer-on (h). This means you strum the chord and then fret the next two fingers without strumming again. My guide on hammer-ons will help you if you are still confused.
Got No Love
I’m using a low G for this song but it sounds perfectly fine with a normal G as the notes are the same.
