The second album from The Libertines carries on from their sublime debut. They are a band that captured the whirling feeling of falling apart and absolutely loving it at the same time. Let’s learn to play some of them songs on a ukulele.
Today we are learning to play Can’t Stand Me Now, Music When The Lights Go Out and What Katie Did. These Libertines ukulele tabs are taken from this arrangement from my YouTube channel.
This ins’t the first time i have arranged The Libertines on the ukulele. You can check out my version of Up The Bracket here.

The Libertines Ukulele Tabs
Not sure on how to read ukulele tabs? My short guide will get you to grips with it.
Can't Stand Me Now
The opening track on this album is just superb and I will NEVER tire of it! It’s originally played on two guitars so I have picked out the most prominent parts of them both.

Music When The Lights Go Out
The tab looks way more confusing then it actually is. The h’s between the numbers are hammer-ons. This guide will fill you in on how to play them.
After you have hammered-on from the 2nd to the 3rd fret. Theres a pretty quick slide up to the 12th fret.

What Katie Did
I feel like this song translates really well on the ukulele. The libertines are known for their jangly riffs is this is a perfect example.
For the opening chord, use your first finger on the 4th fret of the A string and your middle finger on the 5th of the E.
