This is my medley/cover of the Vampire Weekend – Modern Vampires Of The City album. In this post i am sharing the ukulele tabs for Obvious Bicycles, Dianne Young and Young Lion.
This video means I have completed the full set of Vampire Weekend albums on a ukulele. I actually think its the first time I have done that with a band on this channel. What’s interesting is this is my favourite VW album. Lord knows why I left it till last, none the less, it’s here!
Be sure to check out my other medleys from the Vampire Weekend discography. Father Of The Bride, Contra and The Debut Album.
Vampire Weekend UKULELE TABS
Not sure how to read these? Check out this guide and you will be learning these ARTIST ukulele tabs in no time.
Obvious Bicycles
Im using a low g for this song but i tried it on a ukulele with a high g and it sounds equally good. The key is to strum the first chord on a down strum and then hit the 7th fret with your thumb too. The 6th and 4th frets after that are merely there just to keep the song moving.

Dianne Young
“You torched a Saab like a pile of leaves, I’d gone to find some better wheels”. The opening melody of this track just sounds great. This is the vocal line from verse one all the way up until the chorus.

Young Lion
This is the opening section and we are mimicking the piano parts of the song.
