I just recently arranged the new Arctic Monkeys album The Car and this is one of this opening track is outstanding. It lends itself nicely to the ukulele but can be a bit of a challenge. So grab a cup of tea and let’s jump in and learn to play it.

I’m using a low G ukulele for this song, however, I tested playing with a normal high G too and it works just as good. If you got a low G lying around though, nows the time to get it.
The majority of this intro riff is using a two note chord on the A and G strings. Whenever you see that shape (one of the top and one on the bottom of the tab), use these fingers for it. Your index for the A and your ring finger for the G.
