Undoubtedly, this is in my top five Nirvana songs. I love their aggressive early stuff, but when they strip it back, they nail it every-time. Kurt’s coarse and strained voice over that bass line is just perfect to me. Let’s learn to play it on a ukulele. I seem to be saying this often lately, but this is another one of those songs that sound great on a ukulele.

The opening 2 note chord sets us up very nicely for a full sounding riff. The arrangement is split into 3 parts. The main riff that’s mimicking the bass line. Then we have a little bit of the verse before finishing on the bridge of “in the sun, in the sun i feel as one”.
