I kinda respect MGK’s versatility in music. Whatever he tries his hand at, he seems to deliver. I was really into his early hip hop music, so I’m all ears whenever he puts anything out. The opening guitar riff on this translates pretty well onto ukulele, so let’s learn to play it.

Ukulele Tabs
This is actually super simple to play. It’s all based around a G Major chord. Use your pointer finger on the 5th fret of the A string, then your middle and ring finger on the 7th frets of the E and C strings. The G string remains open for the entire riff.
For the picking hand, use your thumb for the G and C strings, and your pointer and middle fingers for the E and A strings respectively.
The first 3 measures just repeat themselves.
On the 4th measure, there’s a slight change. Instead of playing the 5th fret of the A string, we’re substituting it for the 8th fret of the A string. To play that, just use your pinky (even though I’m doing something different in the video above, lol).
