How to Play Here Comes The Sun by The Beatles on the Ukulele

Its a well known fact that George Harrison is one of the ukuleles biggest fans. He famously said “You can pick up a ukulele and anybody can learn to play a couple of tunes in a day or even a few hours. And if you want to get good at it, there’s no end to what you can do.” With that in mind, how about we learn to play one of the best songs he ever wrote. Let’s learn to play the Here Comes The Sun ukulele tabs.

Below is a video of what you are going to be able to play on the ukulele.

This is actually very easy to play as long as we set ourselves up right from the start.

The whole piece is based around an A major chord. Let’s get our fingers into position. First finger on the 4th fret of the C string. The middle finger on the 4th fret of the A string. Ring finger on the 5th fret of the E string. This creates our A major chord.

Using our thumb, we want to follow along with the tab and pluck each note until we get to the 7th fret on the E string. We will use our pinky finger to fret that. Do the same thing with the 6th fret on the C string.

We need to change our chord position for the last part. Use your first finger on the 4th fret of the E string and your ring finger on the 6th of the C string. That will free up your middle and pinky fingers to fret the other notes.
