For me, these guys are one of the more underlooked and underrated bands from the Britpop era. I have seen them live a few times and the energy from the crowd is unmatched. Their debut album Moseley Shoals was sublime. Let’s learn to play The Riverboat Song on the ukulele.

This is one of those silly little riffs that is just so simple that it’s hardly worth learning to play it! However, if you have made it this far, chances are you still want to. So let’s do it.
For the video above I’m using a low G, if you don’t have one you can just repeat the 2nd part twice. The song is in a 3/4 time signature so it might take a while for you to make the rhythm sound natural.
