Mega group Audioslave caused a huge buzz when they first formed in the early 00s. A Hybrid of Rage Against The Machine and Soundgargen, they had a massive sound. One of my favourite songs of theirs though is a little bit more stripped back.

This riff is great for beginners as its so simple to play. If you are just starting to play and you want to try something other then chords, give this a go. The string switching may push you somewhat but persevere as it sounds great.
