Not only is this song one of the most recognisable songs of the 80s. It’s also a staple of my childhood due to it been a part of the Grand Theft Auto: Vice City soundtrack. Honestly, I discovered so much amazing music from those games. Let’s learn to play it on a ukulele.

To keep it in the same key as the original it requires some pretty uncomfortable stretching and the use of a low G ukulele. So I have included a version of the song that’s transposed down a whole note. This way it’s the open C string that is driving the rhythm. Which means we don’t need to do any stretching at all.
