What Are We Learning To Play?
I have taken the tabs from a video I posted on Tik Tok recently. The idea is how songs can be built through loops. We are learning the last two loops of the video below.
This can be a little bit taxing on the fingers as we are basically making chords with two strings and moving them about quickly. Don’t be discouraged though as with some preparation and practice, you can play this with conviction.
After playing the two open strings, use your first finger on the E string and your middle finger on the C. Keep that shape as you slide up to the next chord. Then use your ring finger for the 5th fret on the E string.
We are only using these two shapes throughout the entire riff. So bear that in mind as you are working your way through it.
