This riff is a pretty straight forward fingerpicking pattern. You want to get your fingers prepared at the start to make it much easier.
Place your first finger on the 2nd fret of the C string. Ring finger on the 3rd fret of the E string. Lastly, have your middle finger on the 2nd fret of the E. That means, you will just need to lift off your ring finger when it comes to playing that note.
