This really is one of the easiest riffs you could learn to play. There are no special techniques going on—just straight-up note playing.
My advice would be to assign specific fingers to each fret. Use your index finger for the 3rd fret, ring finger for the 5th fret, and always use your pinky for the 6th fret. This limits the amount of movement and ultimately makes it much easier to play.
